Pioneer AVH-P5900DVD touchscreen help

i got one of these yesterday Pioneer AVH-P5900DVD for my car pc project and was wondering how can i hook it up to and use the hu touchscreen to work the pc? probably you all been asked a million times so sorry in advance guys. i got three ip bus plugs on the back of it. but dont know where to look. looking for help from far superior pc people. yea im brown nosing

You're going to have to crack the unit open, reverse-engineer the touchscreen, possibly create a PC-compatible interface (serial or USB), possibly write drivers.
On top of that, you'd lose all control of the headunit functions through the touchscreen.

You should be able to get video on the screen, but don't expect stellar quality. These units are designed to accept a composite video signal (like your TV), which is a far lower resolution than a PC's VGA output. As such, expect blurriness, especially with text.

thought those little ip bus things on the back would be the way to go. damn back to the drawing board. wont stop me doing it though its still being installed tomorrow
