Kenwood KVT512 - problems

Ok i installed my kvt512 headunit. When the tuner is on, my speakers/subs work. When i try a cd, usb, or ipod, only the subs make sound when
it is all the way up. Its really faint tho. I have no clue what is wrong. Any ideas??

It might just be a defective headunit if in fact you are still gettin faint sound out of the speakers. Or it might be a problem with how you wired it together.
Can you tell me what you did with the blue wire and the blue/white wire coming out of the headunit?
Also tell me what those wires do?

The blue one is going to my cars power antena and I don't have the blue/white going anywhere. Could that be the problem?

Heres all the wires I have connected (Camaro, Headunit)
Red - Red (Ignition)
Yellow - Yellow (battery)
Black - Black (ground)
Blue - Blue (power antenna)
Orange - Orange (Illumination)
Orange/White - N/A (Dimmer)

Then I have the speaker wires going to each speaker.

Yes that could be the problem.
What do you have the remote wire for the amp going to?
What happens when you disconnect the blue wires from the hu to the car harness?
What is the blue/white wire labled as?

I got it all working. The harness that was provided in the box was faulty. And some of the wires were messed up. Once I got a new one it worked right away.

Thanks anyway
