irman question

so how does this irman work..i jus boy the irman and it easily hooks up and then it works..or do i need sumtin else or is the irman all i need..do i need to buy a remote to hook up to it or what? im confused

Basically the irman turns the IR signals of any remote into a sequence of numbers that the PC reads through the serial port. This is used to control programs. You can use pretty much any remote (you train the device). The irman doesn't come with a remote, you'll need to get one separately.
