Infrared Sensor spec

Hello all,

My first post like many I'm sure is asking for help! (Sorry!) I fear I may have fried my infrared sensor on my lilliput 8" touchscreen. I am attempting a simple extension so the IR sensor can be flush mounted to my centre console, as I see some have done before. However none of those posts I found seemed to resolve where to buy a replacement IR sensor.

I've found a potential UK supplier (I'm from northern Ireland), Farnell. They sell two variances:

HERO HIM602V
PHOTODIODE, IR RECEIVER, VERTICAL
Wavelength, Peak:940nm; Temperature, Operating Range:-25°C to +75°C; Current, Supply Max:3mA; Frequency, Operating:38kHz; Temperature, Tj Max:75°C; Temperature, Tj Min:-25°C; Voltage, V;

HERO HIM702VM
PHOTODIODE, IR RECEIVER, VERTICAL
Wavelength, Peak:940nm; Temperature, Operating Range:-25°C to +75°C; Current, Supply Max:0.6mA; Frequency, Operating:38kHz; Temperature, Tj Max:75°C; Temperature, Tj Min:-25°C; Voltage,;

For reference:

Would either of these be equivalent replacement parts? The lilliput IR sensor had no apparent number for reference
