Lilliput EBY701 Horrible touch screen response

Has anyone else noticed this? I can only get the screen to respond if i use my finger nail. I can't use the palm of my finger like on my linitx screen. Is there a way to increase responsiveness of this touch screen?

Mibix is an unknown quantity at this point
When you installed the software for it it should have come with a utility that allows you to adjust it

I saw nothing in the touckit software that allows for screen sensitivity adjustment.

nope, mine works beautifully with anything you use. i did run the setup.exe on the cd that came with the screen, it installs a driver utility that configures everything.

well, i didnt notice anything for sensitivity either... but i do have the 09 'transflective' model, but i dont think that matters in this case. you might have a defective touch unit?

maybe this screen needs to go back because i can't get this to recognize a finger press unless i either use my nail or press really hard on the screen.

ill play around with it more and see if i can find anything

im running vista btw....

as reference, it works pretty much identical to my treo800w cellphone... but of course the lilliput is more accurate. theyre both really sensitive and really any sort of pressure will make it click. i can use my thumb, nail, pen, nose whatever...

send it back, not worth worrying about. it should be good right out of the box.

All 4 of mine also respond perfectly. Maybe you have an out of date touchkit software. I think the latest is 5. something from http://touchkit.com

PS: does the pointer jump back to a certain posistion when released? If yes then maybe something is stuck on the outer edges, and or they put the screen in too tight.

It doesn't jump at all. I thought i might have outdated software but the screen doesn't even seem to beep when the option is selected. I'm not sure what is going on with this thing. Of course Mobile Computing Solutions are saying i have to pay to ship it back to them. The screen "works". If i want to use the palm of my finger tip it won't work without me pushing down real hard. So maybe the screen isn't tight enough????
