Looking for a tiny keyboard...

Hey all,
One of my buddies mentioned that he bought a micro-thumb-keyboard from the store on this site, but I couldnt find it so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

I am basically looking for a keyboard (ideally USB interface) which could fit in the palm of my hand and has a full QWERTY layout. I know there is the Logitech DiNovo line mini BlueTooth one (I have the full-size model on my desktop), but that is pretty expensive.

Google searches turned up nothing but smaller keyboards, which arent small enough for what I am looking to do.

Thanks
shoop

Wow that thing looks awesome, but the site itself not so much. Not sure how I feel putting my CC info on that page, especially since it says that it will take 2 weeks to ship.

I wish I knew the name of the manufacturer so I could pick one up at a more reputable website.

Thought the same thing myself. Ordered anyway as they accept payment via PayPal. Have no complaints. I've looked over the keyboard and there are no markings in regards to whom the manufacturer is, just a serial number.

Good thinking. Just might have to go through PayPal and check one of these things out. Hard to pass up on at such a nice price. How is the build quality? Does it feel like a piece of crap?

The unit is approx. 3.25in X 5in X .25in in size, is rechargable via an included usb cable and has a very bright backlight. Touch pad works great as a mouse or for gestures, hotkeys no problem, seperate left and right mouse buttons, also has ctrl alt and del buttons.

Picture of the one I use

Bought from here:
http://www.customcarputers.com/produ...90546b18bec3b9

I was going to mount this somewhere but have found it much easier to use held in two hands so I just ran a cable to it into the console and I fish it out whan I need it.

I used a keyboard mapping program to define functions to the blue Function keys (eg. for right click and a few others) as suggested on the web link above.

For what little bit of typing I need to do in the car, it does all I need and the price is right!

rsrblade, thank you

Hi rsrblade,

As Shooptek said, the site is not so nice. However, I agreed your points that this keyboard was great and finally purchased it.

Even it said the shipment period was 2 weeks but I received just around 1 week.

Once again, thx rsrblade.

Forgot to say one more point, I found the same one in Japan site.

http://akiba-pc.watch.impress.co.jp/...0/ni_i_in.html

It sells 5,980 Japanese Yen, around US$63.

Ha, we are lucky that we can buy much cheaper

@AlanAlan

Did you also notice that the mouse pad can be used to 'click' on an item? No need to hit the left mouse button or enter every time ;-)

@rsrblade,

yeah yeah, you are right. I tried it and it worked so well. Thanks.

By the way, do you also use it for HTPC? I used it. Moreover, I also used it for presentation in the office.

Once again, thank you for finding this product....
