How to Mount a Touchscreen...

I'm sure most of you have heard the story by now, that I have this big honkin' 10.4" ELO Intellitouch touch screen. It works really well, but the problem is, to mount it, NOTHING can be touching the front of it (or it picks it up as a constant press). This really makes things complicated when trying to do an indash install and have some kind of bezel to go over it. I'm wondering if any of you have installed one of these, and if so, how did you do it?

At this point, I'm thinking of just mounting the lcd, and then adding the touchscreen overtop with velcro

Oh yes, here is my dash (dremeled and all!)

thats a really nice screen. how much was it? And where did you get it.
As for mounting it, i have no idea. Nothing touching the surface seems to be the only problem. Maybe get a new touchscreen film thats slightly smaller than tthe screen?

That screen looks so nice it looks like its fake. HAHAHAH j/k but like we talked way back when. I do have my center console actually touching the touch overlay. DUnno why you are having a problem.

try double sided tape and just have a small gap between the bezel and the screen...
