Touchscreen hibernate help

I have a Xenarc 700TSV with serial touchscreen. I use a usb-to-serial adapter to connect the serial ts to the usb hub near the dash. When resuming from hibernate, the touchscreen does not work. If I launch the configure utility, after a short delay the ts starts working again.

Any ideas on what the problem is or how to automatically get the touchscreen working after hibernate?

Reply this might help but not sure. Assuming its the same on any Windows if you have USB ports. (I have XP)
Go to Control Panel-->System-->Device Manager

Click on Universal Serial Bus Controllers and for example mine says:

Generic USB Hub
Intel (blah,blah,blah) Host controller 2442
Intel (blah,blah,blah) Host controller 2444
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub

Click properties on the bottom two
Click Power Management
Uncheck Allow Computer to turn off this device to save power

Might Work might not haven't really tested it but it seems plausible that would make the USB always powered.
