Head Unit Touchscreen?

I'm going to be getting a Clarion VRX935VD head unit that has a 7" motorized flip up screen and touch screen. Does anyone know if this touchscreen can be setup to function as a pointing device for a carputer? The manufacturer doesn't seem to have an email address where i can ask questions.
