Whould you buy one of these

I have a question I got my hands on some of these but the older RS232 interface with a PS2 converter and would like to know whould you purchase one for lets say $25 US+actual shipping

THIS IS JUST AN INQUARY, I want to see what kind of interest this generates for future product development.

personaly i wouldnt buy one, i hate those little red things on laptops. Dosent seem like its worth 25 bucks though either. But for some who do want one, maybe it is worth it. my 2 cents

Nope not me.... Touchscreen or a remote is the only way to go. I have also seen this Micro trac in some places that doesn't look to bad, but I prefer my touchscreen.

Nope, I have a remote. A mouse or pointing device wouldn't work with a 20x4 VFD and would be too distracting in the car with a graphic LCD screen.

I would. Sure a touchscreen would be better but that is $25 compared to about $200 to make a screen a touchscreen. Plus it is small so it would make for good installation plus it has just as small of a "footprint" compared to a real mouse which you have to not only find a place for one but also the room to move it around. As long as it works just like a mouse i would say go for it.

Thanks for the link Rob Withey I guess the place that was offering them to me get's their stuff from meci couse it is the exact same one LOL, Well if any one wants one of these

I was thinking about getting one and mounting it in my shifter - but its too big.
BTW I have a automatic so it wouldn't get in the way if I mounted it just right
