I believe it was a CR2025.

Pick it up at a Radio Shack for a couple bucks...

I understand what you are saying, but:

I worked at Radio Shack about 18 years ago (I was 15, almost 16 at the time) and most people were pretty knowledable and helpful enough back than.

I'm not saying there aren't people there that don't know what they are doing.
I've been in there a few times in the past few years and it's not like it use to be with people knowing what they sell or what will work.
They may not know enough to make that asummption.
They can all say it looks like it might fit.

They will say something like, "Hmmm, this one looks like it will fit."
Pretty much if it fits, it will work since those types (~Quarter size) are 3 Volts.

What suprises me is when I looked at my Creative remote the other day, it didn't have the battery type printed on the casing.

But, it did say CR2025 and that was what I said in my original post.

-Mario

These are just my thoughts about the whole thing.
I rarely find people in Electronic Retail who know what they are doing...

Yeah thanks guys. I found the number on the remote itself. Now I just need the drivers for it. I should have my whole setup completed next week. Pc is finished, custom mounted screen yada yada. Took too damn long. But i just wasnt happy with the epia motherboards. Too slow for my taste. So I had to redoo the whole thing. Runing athlon 1.3, 250w dc-cd power supply. Should be enough I think.
