Many many ways..

But....

Can they boot of CD-ROm and install XP? I use my DVD-ROM to boot and install my OS. Many Firewire and USB 2.0 requirenewer motherboards.

I'm running a INtel 815 chipset with a PIII 1Ghz Chip with 512MB ram. My mobo don't have firewire or USB 2.0, well atleast my car doesn't need it yet. Soon though. When I upgrade to a P4.

that's soo mine. BACKOFF!

I use a VST technologies (bought by smartdisk?) firewire (powerd by it too) CD-R/RW slim drive. When I want to instrall an OS, I plug in an ide drive... but I don't forsee doing this in a long time, as I have ghost images on a VST firewire/usb laptop drive thingy, and can load them in 10 minutes that way.

I like not having to do anything special to my hardware when I need to reinstall or do anything. Makes it more self sufficient.

Version 2.0 is always better!!!
