Mini RF Remote

Hi,
What about this for remote idea?
-3"L x 1.5"W x .5"D
-Wireless RF to a RF-USB receiver
-Controls basic media functions (Play/Pause, Next,Prev, Stop)
-Controls volume
-Can go to a second mode to change media keys into arrow keys
-has 4 HotKey programmable buttons
-has soft rubber keys
-runs on 2 (or maybe 1) AAA battery

Basically an RF-USB remote that keys can be programmed by an outside application (i.e. hkcontrol "HotKeys XP" or something like it)

Does anyone know either how to fabricate this, or get a company involved?
The idea is out there for the taking. SEE ATTACHED DIAGRAM...(ps-I'm not a graphic designer, so get ready to laugh!)

great idea, I would love to have one for when I am at car shows, just change the settings from far away... I dislike the idea of buttons on the bottom half though. thats where I usually hold a remote and it would be hard to reach them while still holding the remote with one hand.

there used to be a banner for a mini - RF remote here, but it didn't go to any information. I *****ed about it but nobody responded...

I'd be interested if somebody could get it done.

I would not have considered that remote "mini"

Are you talking about the "media remote"?

-but that came with software for like $80 so the remote must be available somewhere for less

Does anyone remember the url that the banner linked to? (want to add it to my archive of carpc info)

ok found out that the guys with the mini-rf banner were just reselling the mediaremote.com remote which retails for about 40 bucks...

still want to know the url of that banner link(the guys selling mediaREMOTE and software) for the archives....
