Griffin Powermate volume control help

I have a griffin powermate and wanted to use it to adjust my wave volume. The program interface wants to call an external app. I was wondering if anyone knew how to adjust the wave volume via the command prompt? rundll.exe or something? any other ideas? Thanks let me know.

You can use a program like this one to bind shortcut keys ot your volume and more. Best of all, it's free!

BTW, is your Griffen Powermate reliable? What color is it?
I have tested my friends old black one which sucks, and my new silver one that rocks.
