Hey, This question is for bmw people as Im not aware of any other cars having it ;> So here we go gork mentioned in a few posts about his integration of the i/k bus in his e46. Now Im not totaly sure when bmw started making those? I know my 97 E36 m3 has I-Bus for the cdchanger. As for the k-bus I always thought thats for the older cars, before 95 where they had a different type of bus for controling the cdchanger. Some references to sites talking about i-bus and links to different manufacturers of such equipment would be great.
I know the direction and such, but on the i-bus page ( openbmw, i-bus hack ) it says its only for navi/radio/chchanger nothing about stuff like displaying messages on obc, also on the page everything is for e46...
