USB Touchscreen Problem

Hello,

I purchased a lilliput 7" touchscreen from ebay and had it professionally installed in my dash. About a week later the touchscreen started to become way off calibration. Recalibrating didn't help. Eventually it wouldn't even detect clicks anymore. So I ordered a new touchscreen from Armin and replaced it, but this didn't solve the issue. Next I ordered a new controller and hooked it up to the new touchscreen. This put me back in business. Now, just today, the touchscreen has started again becoming way off calibration. This is so frustrating. Anyone else having the same issue?

Thanks

Hi!
I had the same strange problems and all i had to do after hours and days of frustration was reroute the flat ribbon cable that goes from the touchscreen to the touchscreen controller. It seemed like some high frequency interference was turning the data crazy!
Hope this helps!
See you!

Fixed it! Looks like all I had to do was unplug the touchscreen, restart, reconnect the touchscreen and recalibrate and it's working like a champ again. It seems to have been a driver issue, which makes since because the issue started happening immediately after a reboot, which is more indicative of software than hardware.
