Lightbulb Sky navigator remote as keyboard??

I have a sky navigator remote (with full keyboard on the back) and a spare keyboard controller (from an old keyboard) does any one know if soldering the keyboard contoller onto the sky remote would work as a keyboard in windows.

Thanks

will work if your careful enough and clever enough to wire it exactly as a keyboard i.e follow the rules of the keyboard matrix, (plenty of websites detailing this) but better still, why go to all that effort?
is the sky remote infared?
if so just use an irman / eavation ir and use girder to simulate keyboard presses no modifications needed

tbh the sky remotes use the philips rc6 protocol, and so it chucks up a different IR string every time you press a button, and often the same code for different buttons!!! I think girder will need a new plugin to properly decode these remotes.
