Lopan, I was thinking the same thing as I was reading thru this post. It would be cool to be able to eliminate the mess of wires and connections when removing the PC for service. This would seem to be a perfect match for a casetronics c134 type case.
Could you list the digikey part numbers? Thanks.

Yeah sorry it took so long to reply.... digikey part numbers are as follows
Male Connector Housing: Digikey Part Number H10109-ND
Male Pins for 24-28 awg wire: Up to 18 Digikey Part Number H10087-ND
Male Pins for 18-24 awg wire: 2 Digikey Part Number H10085-ND
Female Connector Housing: Digikey Part Number H10110-ND
Female Pins for 24-28 awg wire: Up to 18 Digikey part Number H10091-ND
Female Pins for 14-16 awg wire: 2 Digikey Part Number H10090-ND
Connectors have 2 spots for larger terminals, these are larger connectors and won't fit in the smaller spaces, you only need 2 if you plan on running power.
Female pins won't fit in the male connector housing and vice versa...
I tried to double check everything, but double check via digikey, when you look up the connector housing, digikey lists what goes with them so double check, or if you want a different guage connector. Also, there are pictures of each connector (how I figured out the difference between the big and small pin connectors)
Also, if you want a 40 pin connector instead of a 20 pin....
Male Connector housing: Digikey part number H10101-ND
Female Connector Housing: Digikey part number H10102-ND
These use the same pins as above... Looks like 4 spaces for the larger pins... but could be wrong...
Also forgot to mention... Mines done, touch screen, video in's, vga, everything works like a champ...

Nice work man. That's a pretty big camera. Where are you going to mount it?

Dunno... it's bigger then I expected, being that it's all going into a 68 scout... I'll probably mount a trailer hitch deal, and put it in a trailer hitch cover or something.... Don't know, it senses darkness and all those lights glow red which I might not want visible...

the camera is kinda cool, it's advertised as color/night vision, which it kind of does... kind of... when lights are, the color is screwy at best, a little too much blue or just weird... when the lights go out, a daylight sensor kicks on the IR emitters and it's kind of obvious whats happening with the color, although I can't really explain, it kind of looks like when the lights are on it's in a partial IR mode, which causes funkiness with the color? still it's a cool little camera and worth the 50 bucks I paid for it... so we'll see how it works in a real world application

*brain fart*
I've been looking at this thread for awhile and must say that it is a great idea. After waiting for a week and a half, I finally received my Starvision TS monitor and it's the same exact monitor. I know, others have said this in other threads, that the Lilli and Starvision are the same monitors.
Since both of these are identical, they use the same stand as well. You might be able to use a spring to exert pressure against the knob used to turn the screw for mounting the monitor. This way, you can easily remove the monitor by pressing on the knob and lifting the monitor up. To install, press on the knob and slide the monitor down.
Again, this idea will only work if you can get a spring that can exert a good amount of pressure between the plate and knob and won't be too stiff to compress. It might be possible to get rid of the knob altogether and use a square nut and bolt with an appropriate spring(valve spring?) to accomplish the same thing.
