jbors, is your goal with the IP-BUS so that you can navigate through songs/folder on the actual headunit? so there is a 2-way communication between the PC and the Headunit?

my goal is to one day have a computer under the seat, that I can all but forget about, and have it interfaced with the headunit...

I will give you a million dollars if you make this controller within the next month.

How's that for motivation?

I will be in for a AI-Net one providing its easy to program on the pc end (using vb)

From what I have read with AI-Net it should be possible to send data from pc to the HU and show graphics? and then send FF/REW commands from the HU to the PC to change the track?

Also I have read all the pages (skipped a few lines here and there) but didnt really see anything on audio input through ai-net, it is going to have an aux audio input function right?

Good luck with the projects mate

I believe the way it works is the bus has audio in it as well, from the PC to the HU, and I think that only text is possible. If graphics are possible, wouldn't we see any graphics from XM/SIRIUS or CD Images or something like that from the BUS?

Well i did mean text lol, I know the ai-net plug has l/r audio inputs, just wanted to know if the plug supplied with the unfinished product would have phono sockets attached to those pins.
