So can we just connect to pins 4,5,& 6 to feed audio into the headunit as well as use the M-Bus?

That makes one million people! I normally build my own stuff. But I think this time, for ai-net, I would pull out the cash for it. Maybe get 2 or 3. At least 2 of them since my truck and my wifes car both have alpines with ai-net. And she wont let me cut up her dash. so if i ran a cable to the trunk and just had mp3 system i think she would be happy. Well that and let me do it.

Hi Jbors,
Are you still selling the Mbus adapter for Volvo SC models? If so I need one too I am trying to connect mp3 player through the cd-changer port but as you talked in the forum I need the codes for Alpine cd-changer.Since you can't give me that(for security reasons) if possible I want to buy one.If you need any photos of the back of the SC-900 stereo or any connector I can provide you that.By the way I am living in Turkey-Istanbul.Thanks

We carry adapter for MBus which is what SC-** understands.
But we do not carry harness for Volvo. You will need VOL-ALP cable in addition to our device.
As of MBus info , it is widely available on internet as well as MBus emulation source. So if you have enough skills, you can build it yourself

Just make sure you mention that you need Alpine compatible connector upon checkout. The one I mentioned earlier is the Honda specific.

I have a headunit that states Panasonc/Sanyo Cd changer compatable. Has a 9-pin DIN connection and the manual states 'CBus' as the interface.

Any chance of one of these great usb adapters coming along to work with this? Pretty please with sugar on the top

Keep up the good work!

Shall keep my eyes on it then. Interesting my headunit's documentation implies Pan/San being same system.

I wonder if there is more than one type of Panasonic system.

Cheers mate!

Exactly that mate! There were a few that stated USB interface for PC control, unfortunately the one I picked's 'USB interface' works with only a USB flash stick for MP3's. I need DivX and nav too so the PC's being built.

The model is LM6401.

I am hoping I can find another adapter to work with say, the PIO USB adapter from car2pc. Going between that and the headunit. Any thoughts there? Jbors?
