And I think source also posted somewhere here. If not, I'll post it.
If you need emulator, you won't need FT chip at all.

Did you get an aftermarket CD-Changer to work on a car PC?

Hi,

I'm looking to integrate my Ipod with Mazda (Miata system) radio system. The plug input is different then older radio system. The harness is J02 for CD changer.

Can anybody give me idea how I can do that. If somebody can provide any circuit details etc.

You can use the same schematics as above:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/368746-post82.html
You won't need FT chip at all though, so it will be quite simple.
Mazda harness pinout can be found on indashpc.org/vbullettin

haha, i cant believe i just registered for this.
So i go a 15yr old Alpine deck CM2191, I'd like to use the M-Bus for aux, but the deck doesnt go into Aux mode with a cd-changer. I thought it might be as simple as just grounding a particular pin, but i guess not.

here is a picture of my radio http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w201...adio-home.html

Any suggestions would be great, I just want RCA, dont need any PC stuff.

thanks.

What protocol is used in Mazda 3 (2008)? Is it MBus? Its head unit seems to use pulsewidth modulation rather than "high level" for logic 1 and "low level" for logic zero. Does anybody have description of Mazda3's protocol?

Hi everybody, first post (w00t).

jbors do you have any update on a Panasonic adapter?

I have been pulling my hair out for a week looking for an AUX-CDC emulator for my '04 Mitsu Galant with Infinity(Matsush1ta/Panasonic) HU.

I've been to club3g, nasioc, mictronics.de, Kristoffer Sjoberg and Matthias Klumpp's pages, k9spudyou name it. I'm too cheap to get the adapter & cable from mitsubishiparts.net (besides, I want AUX only - I have a Shuffle that I like and that works just fine, I don't want to buy another iPod just to be able to use this emulator) or to replace the HU, I'm too stubborn to hack the amp or go the blank-CD route, and I'm too ignorant to DIY my own emulator.

I'm almost convinced that the $50-$60 range emulators for Audi/VW (Symphony/Panasonic) offered by GROM/BlitzSafe/others would work with a simple cable mod but I can't find any conclusive data that tells me the protocols are the same.

Am I going to be reduced to dropping $200 at mitsubishiparts.net (along with $$ for a compatible iPod I don't even really want), or is their another (cheaper/better/easier) way?

My HU is Matsush1ta MN141260 / Panasonic CQ-EB0360L with the in-dash 6-CD changer, if that rings a bell for anyone...

Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide any help. Also a big thank you to everyone for all the helpful info on this forum (I know more about car audio now than I ever wanted to ).

Schematics should be posted on the forum, I'm not sure if I can recover source code though. It's been a long time now
