The development is done at this point for MBus and PBus. I'm doing a whole bunch of tests to make sure everything works fine befor going to a local shop again. My previous version had some stability issues which I don't want to bump into again.

I returned all adapters to the factory to reprogram the device. It turned out that they did not program PIC correctly. I hope I can get the adapters fixed on Tuesday. Will post here Tuesday.

Sorry for pushing things out. The factory I'm making adapters on still cannot program it correctly. I will post here as long as they return me the right one.

Finally I got it the way it suppose to be !
They program it correctly this time. Here is the pic of the adapter working:

I'm going to make a short avi movie so you can see it in action with PyCar.

I apologize if you've already answered this somewhere, but I've seen conflicting data from various sources.

Are the newer Alpine HUs backwards compatible with M-Bus? I have an Alpine CDA-9805 HU with the Ai-Net bus. So, I'm curious to know if your adapater would be compatible with it at all or what. If it isn't, are there any plans for Ai-Net? I love Alpine HUs, but I really want to have a nice car computer for audio.

Thanks.
