replacing 8" Lilliput touchscreen
Hi;
I've damaged my touchscreen panel. It occured after I absent-mindedly used the stylus to rub away some miniscule silicone streaks on the extreme edge of the touchscreen. As a result, if you run the stylus along the top edge of the screen, the cursor veers along the screen in tooth shaped pattern - down/up.
I've tried to recalibrate both methods, but the panel is having none of it.
In addition, I managed to inflate the plastic cover off the screen about 3/4 of an inch (the minicomputer I'm building is a sealed waterproof one, cooled by convection - not for in-car use!). I'd forgotten to install the pressure relief before leaving it on for a day as a temperature test, and the only relief was for expanding air to squeeze through the foam mounting tape between the plastic and touchscreen and the silicone seal. Piling a few books on it for a day squashed it back down, and it worked fine... until the silicone incident.
Soooo... where do I get a replacement panel (don't need controller, just the glass bit)? Comments?
