I need a Webcam with usb interface

I wan to use it for rear view, it need to use with minimum of light

I do not know with i need to get, can you help me.. ???

Why are you limiting yourself to webcams? Get a good dedicated backup cam from http://www.digitalww.com

Can't comment on the merit of using an USB cam vs dedicated cam, but if you're set on using USB, I've found Logitech's QuickCam Pros to be superior (we tested a whole bunch back when; Apple's might be nice though, we didn't cover it.) You can reverse the image in the camera settings (almost all USB camera drivers support this.)

Edit: One big reason to go with a purpose-built backup cam: USB cameras tend to have a narrow field of view, wheras (I would hope) backup cams have wider fields. So much for my "can't comment..."

You can reverse and flip image so you can hang it upside-down of the top of your rear window if you want. As well as having night vis. But alass as yet untested (in the outside world that is)

Logitech's cam are USB1.1 compliant, that's really too slow for a decent image, USB2.0 is ok : 640*480 @ 30 ips.

The idea behind using a webcam is probably to manipulate the video tream : crop it to match the rear glass ratio while driving, full res when reverse, Adjust brightness, contrast, shutter, exposure in real time. Almost all webcams cam mirror the image in hardware, and if not, well, there are tools like videocapx that can do it live. The probleme is not many webcam use overlay.

The perfect solution however is a regular cam, and a video card with Video-in. Wire the cam both to AV-in of the screen and to video-in.

With video-in, your carputer can deal with video, and if your pc is off, the video's always available thru its direct link to the screen
