That is actually an excellent idea! You could get a PS2 -> USB adapter for the iTYPE2 so windows would recognize it as a joystick. Then you could proceed to get a program that lets you use joystick axis' for the mouse(I've seen and used one of these programs before). I personally would use the analog buttons L3 and R3(press the analog sticks down) for mouse 1 and 2. If you were to do this you would have a mouse/keyboard/gamepad all in one. If you weren't interested in using it as a gamepad, you could map programs/functions to the other buttons. I.E. press Square to stop the music in winamp.

Look for a progrm called Joymouse- get a freeware version as some cost money
Im planning to hack apart the controller and mount the analogue joystick and buttons into the centre panel/door/dash

Any version of Girder prior to 3.3 (IIRC) is still free. Problem is trying to find a site that still has the old Girder files.
3.2.9b can be found here

I picked up 3 today. There are a few more around town I'll get in the coming days. Will sell those to fellow mp3car'ers that can't get them (although shipping overseas may be a bit much). Will update everyone again soon.

These are pretty sweet......
Just picked one up at lunch time and figured I would try it on the computer at work. I was surprised, USB is actually "Plug and Play"....
The system found it set it up and it is working.....
And for anybody else that goes into an EB Games looking for one, I would ask the person working there if the have them. I searched the whole place, didn't see any and was about to give up...
I asked "Do you have any of those tiny *** little keyboard made by Game Gear?" She said "Yes, we have to hide them, they tend to walk out of the store if we don't...."
Really nice emergency keyboard.

was in Poughkeepsie, NY electronics botique (sp?) for $15 + tax (25% off I guess?)
Thank you mr LLCoolWas.
