Got one! This is great. I have tested it with Win2000 and WinXP Pro. Thanks for finding this LL. I went to my local eb games and picked one up, I ended up tellin the guy what I was gonna do with it and showing him the car pc.

Word to the wise: don't throw out the plastic clip that came with the keyboard. I used it to clip the keyboard to the top of my shifter - it's a nearly perfect fit, and works great for the occasional keystroke. =)
The battery in my camera phone died, so I'll post a picture when I get home this evening.

Ok, a question i've been wondering...does this keyboard remapping utility remap the keys on ALL of your keyboards? I also have a keyboard in my sunvisor. And I'm sure ocassionally i'll have one for a friend to put in their lap if they want.
And theres no way to make the function button (the button you press before you press a function key) to work as a button, right?

It will remap the key within Windows, so the answer to your question is yes, it will affect all keyboards. But if you remap the F-keys you won't affect any of your other keys - just make sure you don't SWAP the keys you'll be ok.
Edit: And no, you can't make the Fn button work within Windows - it is just a modifier for the keyboard's buttons..

Here's a dumb question: I DL'd the 3 tradekeys .rar files... how do I open them? I tried to extract them to the same folder and they are all a setup file so it kept asking if I wanted to overwrite it.
Thanks.

WinRar is smart enough to know that it is a spanned archive, so you only need to extract from the first one and then run the setup.exe. Edit: You should wind up with four files. I had to span the archive because the max attachment size was 200k.

Try this one. Looks like they will ship internationally.

they want an extra $18 just to wire it plus $10 for shipping. All sounds exensive. IS there any where else that will sell them to the uk?

You could try contacting the manufacturer and asking if they have any UK distributors.. or become one.. Edit: .. or try to go for a group purchase for you UK guys..
