This is my '04 Civic. I have problems with XP Standby vs. Powermate. I've tried the 2.0 Beta drivers on Griffin's site, no better. Currently I'm using the older drivers. The powermate works well on restart, but never comes out of standby.

Here's mine.. not really integrated. Future plan is to redo the dash and put in a PR-1000.

Yes, it can, but you wouldn't want to. If you didn't want to use a touchscreen, the next best thing would be a space navigator.

I tried glueing the base. Once the glue was dry, the whole thing came off the dash in my hand when I went to use it. I removed the silicone base and there was a clear hard plastic base underneath. I glued again and it stuck. That isn't my pic you were looking at but he probably did the same.

I got'tcha...just yanked the sil base off mine...
I wonder if a suction-cup would attach to the base fairly permanently? I don't really have a flat area to glue the Powermate to, but a thru hole directly behind it...
I could grab onto the suction-cup thru it maybe...

Or super-glue a nylon or plastic nut to the base!!
Super-glue works super on plastic to plastic
