Yeah - it's waiting to go in the trunk once my system gets installed. I haven't used it all that much since I bought it a year ago.
I am sure once I have easy access to it in the car, it will come in real handy. It's a dye-sub Sony 4x6 printer I got at Staples a long time ago for like $30 (it was on clearance). Consumables are pretty expensive though and it comes out to ~$0.45/print. Nothing like the cool factor.

Hey, that is cool. Can they still be got from other places for less than $50?
Is this what you have?

Edit: No, it can't be because it uses a parallel port. I did find a nice usb printer though for only 450

I come across a lot of Sony and Panasonic photo printers at work. Nice ones, for printing images from microscopes and stuff. Maybe I'll start keeping my eye out for one.
Get it mounted nice and flush, so photos just come out a slot in the console.
I could park the van at carnivals and make money as a photo booth!
