One 4 port hub in the cabin and 4 ports on the motherboard in the trunk, and I'm thinking about adding a hub in the trunk.

This is a new one...
I will definitely have one of these plugged into a hidden usb hub on my mac mini carputer, because my car has no ashtrays. IT is a USB powered smokeless ashtray...the bug owners will like it particularly. I also plan to have many of the previously mentioned items going through probably 3 4-port usb hubs.

Here's on what I'm planning go plug in:
Front Cam
Rear Cam
In-car cam (rear-view-mirror)
4-port USB hub mounted w/ acces (for mp3 players/cameras/etc)
and maybe a WiFi card, but I'd rather go PCI with that one.
