Does it work with Frodo, or Winamp? Or both?

What does it work with

It works with anything thats is the foreground window or an exe that you assign to it. It will set focus to that window then simulate keypress to that window.

regarding airclick mapping with the wrapper

I configured this wrapper this morning which took a while to figure out which controls would work under frodoplayer but I got it finally. I got the play button to do a pause/unpause(play) both the back and forward buttons play the next and song before the volume goes up and down. The only thing with the volume is if you press the volume up button once it will continue to go up until you press the volume up again to stop it. This is the one thing I would like to see changed, it kind of difficult to press the volume twice to increase it a little bit. To map all of the buttons just assign letters in the wrapper executable and then go into frodoplayer and settings 1 then key shorcuts1 and map everything to the cooresponding function, also i had to edit the frodo config .ini file to get the volume to increase and decrease at a decent level, at first it jump all the way up to 60% in a couple of seconds. Overall a good wrapper for frodo at least. Thanks

MCB volume

I wish I have some control over that. I PMed Krystar to make us a customized Plugin for MCB instead of using Winamp's. By default the Airclick winamp plugin presses the volume button 4-6 times with one click on the remote. I was hoping to solve this with a new Plugin from Krystar instead of fixing it in MCB which will make it a bit messy. Krystar probably haven't checked his mail in awhile maybe thats why he have not responded. Hopefully we get a customized Plugin (which should be fairly simple to modify from Winamps plugin) and I can get the "Hold Down for fast foward" to work. I kind of need that function for my Xvid player.

have you tried using uICE? Do a google search for it, they have a trial download on the site.

I have the creative labs credit card remote, which didnt work too well with the original software, but now works great with uICE.

Are you using the creative credit card remotes receiver or with another IR receiver?

I have a creative credit card remote left over cause i took the creative reciever out of the car and threw it out.

I might post it for sale for like 5 buks shipped. haha

I'm using the receiver the remote came with, but I took the insides out of the bulky casing. The circuit board only takes up about a fourth of the casing..the rest is just empty. Pretty stupid design if you ask me.

The remote will work with other IR receivers I believe. If not, theres plans online to build a serial IR receiver.

Yea, I took my board out also, and soldered a longer wire to the IR sensor, then I just took it out and chopped the wire and left the IR eye sensor in my car.

I like RF remotes or my Sony Erricson Bluetooth remote, no need to point.

Thumbs up winamp airclick plug-in

Anyone managed to get this working completely?

I've installed the AirClick plug-in, but I'm running into some probelms. When I hit next or back, it skips 2 tracks.

Then I have the WinAmp plug-in, and same thing....with the AirClick plug-in and the WinAmp plug-in at the same time, same thing happens.

It also seems that the play button won't work...volume does though!

wonder if it has anything to do with the version of winamp?
