Music player in car remote - any suggestions?

Hi,

I'm new on this forum but I've had my mind set on building a car computer for a few months. The versatility of it seems so much better than shelling out loads on a head unit alone.

Anyway, my question is this: Is there something on the market that allows you to change audio tracks in the same way as a 'normal' stalk control can in most cars. Leaning forward to fiddle with a touchscreen would be a dangerous distraction whilst driving, and although I've seen a wireless remote control it's pretty big and wouldn't be very practical if you dropped it on the floor!

Suggestions and links are most welcome.

Lots of people have tried this. Maybe it's what you're looking for.
