Folding USB keyboard (PDA like) cheap
I found out that USB folding keyboards, like the kind used for PDAs, are going for quite cheap on Ebay, typically $16 shipped from that seller ($.99 for the item, $14.95 for S&H).
They seem to be intended to work with tablet PCs, but they should work on any PC. I've already ordered one from that seller, I'll post what I think about it when I receive it.

I've thought about using one of the small bluetooth PDA keyboards, Let us know how it works out for you.

I used one of those...

now that I had used it for a while, mine broke pretty badly... and I took pretty good care of it. I'm glad I bought it only because it was so cheap and I would've always wondered how good or crappy it would have been. But it was kinda crappy and cheaply made in my opinion.
Overall I like that mini keyboard more:

I bought that, haven't used it much, but it's pretty solid... gonna do that retractable cable mod that shotgunefx came up with. Tom61, I hope you have better luck with yours than I did... the damn thing is just too flimsy.

Hmm... I may just have to go ahead and get a PSK-3X00 for my small keyboard needs, then. That PS2 keyboard makes a good thumb-keyboard, but I'd like something that I could touch-type on.

the frog pad you mean?
one of my friends had one strapped to the arm of his office chair because he is lazy and did alot of "one handed typing" things. yea you get the picture
anyway, i used it for a few hours
i just had a really hard time with it. i suppose if you got REALLY used to it it woud be fine, but
it would take alot of time.

Got my folding keyboard today. Seems nice. The two sides lock in, but the center doesn't. Makes it OK, but not great, for typing on your lap. I might bend a stiff peice of wire to put between two loops on the bottom to lock the center pieces together.
The keys pretty much feel the same as a notebook's keys.
Everything seems to work nice, except for a small anomaly earlier; all the right side keys either didn't register or registered as * or Backspace, until I turned Num lock on, then back off.

I had one thinking it would be pretty usefull. The only problem I had with it is I couldnt leave it plugged in because it will not fold up while plugge in. It also sucks trying to use it while it is sitting on my lap or console. I also own an industrial keyboard no bigger than a DVD case. Has back lit keys with dimming controls and is fully functional as any other keyboard. PLUS water proof. It can handle a good beer spill while driving down the road... ALLWAYS A MUST
