Nintendo DS Finger Nipple Thing

My sons DS came with a little rubber pad that you can attache to your finger when using the touchscreen, It's pretty cool and could work well in the car, has anyone seen or tried this? Anyone know if you can buy spare ones or what the official name is for them?

I just pictured myself sitting down in the driver's seat, and sliding my right hand into a permanently mounted version of "the glove"
