Talking Just Won A Touch Screen On Ebay :)

SP-719 7" TFT LCD VGA TOUCHSCREEN XGA PC CAR MONITOR....That is the new TS moitor i just won off ebay, 183.00 including shipping, i cant wait to start my install, this is the 2nd monitor that i have won off ebay, the last time i had the stupid mistake of rushing into it and i ended buying a non vga monitor, non- touchscreen at that, i thought i would be fine with non touch but after thinking about it for awhile i have realized that touch is just the only way to go. well I drive a 1992 dodge caravan, big peice of junk...lol...but at least if i mess anything up i have nothing to worry about.

well i will post a little before pic of my dash and i will hopefully keep this post updated. I should have the monitor in um 1-2 business days -as the ebay seller says- but who know its comming from hong kong so im sure it will be more like a week, well thanks for checkin it out so far........

So i have had my SP-719 7" touchscreen for a few weeks now and today i just bought some bondo glass and a minihacksaw for cutting apart my one dash peice. I aslo nabbed 3 different grits of sandpaper for the fun stuff.

My question is to anyone that has a Super 7' ttouch how do you get it apart easily?? I was trying for about 15 minutes to get the darn thing apart but i could only manage to pop open the upper half by an eigth inch to expose the top 2 little clips to hold it together. I cant for the life of me get that darn bottom half to pop open, now i am using the finest of movments that i can so that i do not damnage any of the internals. But it still doesnt budge.....does anyone that has successfully gotten theres open have any pointers??

yes, there are 5 screws on the back. Four in the corners and one is in the center of the mounting bracket.. Once removed It then pulls apart from the bottom first.
