The only input from the rear of the headunit is the XM signal.

jbors, are you the one building these boards? I'd just like a little technical info on this part so I can figure out the best adaptation for my carpc thanks

What you mean XM signal ? Is there any approved XM tuner for it ?
Let me know what details you need to know.

I'm just wondering how your product is going to get audio into the stock 04 Acura TL stereo. The car comes equipped with XM tuner. The XM source is the only input other than the changer, and the changer is internal.

Will your unit be similar to a relay and more or less sit in on the XM input?

Please do so
Not sure I got the question. What you mean relay ? The adapter right now emulates CD changer and allow signals to be sent to/from PC.

Just an update. There is a problem in a signal handling so I take some time to toss that out before submitting to a factory. It should have been fixed during this week so I can get an estimate to you guys. Sorry for delays.

Guys,
Just got confirmation that old Hondas can be used with the existing MBus adapter. So this adapter will cover only these cars:
2003-2005 Honda Accord
2004-2005 Honda Element
2004-2005 Honda Odyssey
2004-2005 Honda S2000
2004-2005 Acura TSX
May be some other new ones. Will continue to validate.
For old Honda/Acura models MBus adapter should already make a trick.

Can the MBus adapter be use in conjunction with a P.I.E. adapter? The P.I.E. adapater plugs into the nav/external CD changer port on Mazda stereos and gives an Mbus plug. A MBus to RCA cable can be added to create an AUX in for Mazda stereos. If one was to replace the MBus to RCA cable with the CarPC adapter... would this work?

What no Civic? Would an iPod work with this adapter? Why no Civic?
