touchscreen fixed but not controlling
hey guys
i had a motorized lilliput which stopped working (panel was ****ed, couldnt even calibrate it) so i sent it back and have my replacement now.
I just hooked it up and now it calibrates fine (beeps and carries on) and i can finally do the 25 pt calibration and draw the lines etc. so the panel works now.
BUT it is not being used as an input device! once i quit setup, the touchscreen has no implications on the computer, it doesnt move the cursor or anything. What should i do?

Just for ****s and giggles, I'd remove the touchscreen drivers and reinstall. What version drivers are you using and did the panel ever function properly on your system?

Any luck with resolving this? I'm having the same issue. I tried reinstalling the drivers (didn't remove the old ones first) but that didn't help.

Just an update for anybody else who searches for this one, you must uninstall the old driver and reinstall the new one. After I did this, my touchscreen didn't configure the mouse correctly the first couple times, but when I got in the car this morning it worked just like it was supposed to.

Another horribly cludgy workaround is to have the tskit app whatever it's called load on startup. That at least ensures mine works every time, although I then have to click cancel or ok, but I was having a horrible time having the ts be recognized on startup w/o running the app first.

My TS went back to acting all erratic again.
I guess I'll try removing and reinstalling the drivers and hope this fixes it. I'm sure its not a very current driver, but it should still at least be functional.

I still haven't had any luck resolving my issue. Is there something more to fixing a driver issue than removing and reinstalling it?
Or what are the odds the touchscreen itself broke, even though that doesn't seem like the problem?
