I found few industrial encoders, but these were bulky and did not have the middle push switch. Any ideas where to get one?
Get grayhill (
www.grayhill.com). They are the best. I have a 62a rotary encoder and a 60a joystick. You can get them in a variety of configurations and terminations. Remember to use pull-up resistors on the outputs of the encoders!
Edit: Just so you know, the 60a joystick has a 4 or 8 way joystick with a rotary encoder as the shaft. You can also click the shaft.
