usb to mini 3.5mm audio?

Doesn't state it converts audio to USB. I don't see a bulge in the cable for circuitry.

All it states, "This adapter allows you to connect your audio devices to USB port" which could mean for power only. And the price doesn't seem to indicate audio conversion.

actually i think that cable is for the ipod shuffle. the new ones. because the shuffle doesnt come with a usb port it connects to the computer using the 3.5 mm jack which also has data going through it. its also to charge the shuffle.

I agree with 05K. It's for the Shuffle. See how the 3.5mm has four contacts on it? (3 rings and a tip), probably data+/- and power+/-
