Dell Insprion 2500

Okay guys I have a dell insprion 2500 that is sitting here and would like to use as a carputer. Since the laptop use a 20v source, the p1900 should do the job. I was wonder how to physically connect the laptop to the power supply? Also the laptop battery is dead and requires to be constantly plug in. Do I splice into into the laptop power cable and wire in to p1900 power cable? Can someone display a picture showing how to do this. I have been searching out on here for hours and can find a direct answer on this.

Thanks in advance

Mike

I must warn ya. I owned 3 new 2500's once, ALL of them overheated. I'm not trying to discourage you but be very careful where u place the laptop in the car.
