Unbelievable in in one system

I have personally delt with Mark from this site and their service is outstanding.

Thought i would post this all in one system here, and i dont think for the money you could build a better system.

Everything included apart from windows xp. If you think that is still to much they have some going for as little as R3500 do the math

no, not really. buying a used laptop is going to save you a lot. and it lists a bunch of crap like "built in digital amplifier". thats going to be like a car radio (or onboard audio), you still need an amp for any real sound quality. and 80gb isnt very much. if that thing were $500 I still wouldnt get it.

I wouldn't say it's over priced. For all that stuff, $1500 seems kind of reasonable to me in a pre built package. I've seen less sell for more. Although, one could probably build all that for $800 or less with a bit of price shopping.

It is probably expensive but I can bet many carpc builder would spent that much anyway.

$1500 sound alot in one go, but how much did you exactly spent including shipping cost, parts you broke, parts not needed. How about the time and effort needed to put them together? a year later its still not 100% done LOL.

Some people just want to buy, install, and use it, and not spending lots of time ****ing around with bits of hardware.

I chose the hard way though, cause Im a geek

its not install and go. it doesnt come with the front end or software. you still have to get everything working just the same.

EDIT: not to mention its only got a 1.1ghz processor and only 256 mb of ram.

That's about the going rate for a 1ghz in dash double din PC, there are a couple out there, I have yet to hear anything bad (or good) about any of them.

Well Im not impressed either as I like to build my own thing even if it gonna cost me as much + loads of time.

I guess some people dont have time or interest in the hobby side of it. I know one guy who would pay $5000+ for a complete system, the way he sees it he would rather pay someone to do it while he concentrate on his business. To him time is MONEY, losing a day or two worth of work is alot of money lost.

you can get a 3.0+ GHz Dual core pc for 300 bucks plus 100$ touch screen off ebay..
3.0Ghz with a nice gfx card 100$ you can play wii, xbox, and ps2 games on the pc in your car!.. something you sure as hell cant do with that other pos

save 1000$.. get a system 10x more powerful.. I hate products like these there for rich lazy *** ppl/ricers that don't wont to put sweat into the system/car and only wont some flashy stuff, yo have fun with your system, make it your own, have fun putting it together.. #1 Way to go.

Oh my word, the site has free adverts on it and it gets classed as a scam site.
Like i said i have dealt with mark from this site when i purchased a Touch screen, their service is good and yes guys cheap chinese stuff but little secret the touch screen i bought funny enough has exactly the same lcd panel as the lilliput 629 and no mods to power it up the chinese already did the mod when it gets signal from vga it turns on. Anyway everyone is entitled to their opionion and i for one think this is a good deal compared to what i have spent so far on my system and its still not a full solution. Myabe things are cheaper your side of the world as most stuff comes from there but for us anything we buy we multiply by 9 and then add maybe another 30% on top for shipping and customs, and then sad to say we pray the stuff actually doesnt get stollen on the way.

And that machines drive CPU and ram is upgradable by the way

This one maybe cheaper than the other and comes with OS for the rich lazy like me and i bet if i put it in my car the phone gps tv and everything will work without promises of fixes that never arrive or frontend thats get dumped by developers due to piracy and lack of interest after a few months.

Sure, it might be a good deal for some. But here we are more concerned with building our own systems, and something like that for us do it yourself people is way over priced. Look around, you CAN find all the components needed to build something comparable, even better, for around $800 or less. If you don't know how to build a computer though, then perhaps the $1500 thing is the right choice for you.
