Ok, so after talking with Nick I decided I will prob go with a docking station so that I can have an intelligent power supply.

I believe that will work with my DV8000.

So there people who are smarter than me.... would it be possible or what are my options with this laptop and this docking station? Id like to have remote start up/maybe it does iit by itself. My primary uses will be Music, Nav, and DVD! Thanks so much for the help in advance!
