Universal adapter power options?
Have searched and read quite a bit..
I am having a little difficulty finding an inexpensive car charger for my laptop (Toshiba A135-S2356 or Compaq Presario F500).
Since I want to be able to use my laptops outside of the car, I am thinking I can get a universal power adapter, so that I can use either one, whenever (since they have different plugs, to fit multiple power ports). This would also allow me to usesome future "to be determined" laptop.
Anyone have any feedback for using a universal adapter, instead of strictly an OEM car adapter?
Safety? Reliability?
