Hey there,

i have stripped down this laptop to install into my glovebox without testing vga output first. I cant get it to automatically output to the vga port by default. No setting in bios for default display. I will post picture too.

Any help appreciated.

Can you still reattach the original keyboard to it so you can to the "Fn+F3" (I think) command to switch between the laptops screen to the external. Whatever the function icon that has the box with a line on either side

yeah mate i have tried doing that and after further testing i'm lead to believe that the vga output is actually faulty. i have stripped another smaller laptop and it works fine. so should be installing it into my glovebox soon!
