custom laptop community?

does anyone know of any diy laptop communitys? i know people have started to now sell barebones laptops etc but is there any sites dedicated to people fabricating there own laptops? or people who sell just the casings etc?

might sound a bit daft but im after building one from scratch.

Laptoplogic.com is dedicated to diy laptops. Most of the guys on there start with barebones setups, but if anyone would know how to get a hold of cases and such it would be those guys. Keep us update if you find something.
