Sometime people refer to it as a SAAB WRX

that's the waggon I was referring to in my post, I know what it is, I had just never heard it referred to as a SAAB WRX...makes sense though

Actually I called it a SAAB WRX because I didn't know the model name of the SAAB, only that it shared the platform and mechanicals with the WRX. I figured some would know what I was referring to though.

Newb's

The practical reason people want you to do research before posting questions is for organizational reasons. This forum is for development and storage of knowledge and ideas. The knowledge is developed and stored through posts. Think of a post as a page of an encyclopedia. Imagine opening an encyclopedia that contained 1,000 pages of the same trivial, common information. It would be very frusterating and difficult to find any thing useful. This is why people get so frusterated at newbs who just post and want information without doing at least some research. It's like opening an encyclopedia, not reading it, and asking the author to give you a page to write in it. That would be kind of silly if you ask me. The point is to contribute to the community by posting, not to say that you can't ask questions. But at least come with something.

Anyway, I do have a suggestion for you. A company out there makes a USB device that mounts on the top of your screen. It uses an IR matrix to detect the position of your finger on the screen. They are fairly inexpensive. I havn't used one b4 but I would reccomend you try it as it seems to be the most cost effective solution to your problem.

The OP's only problem was a lack of knowledge about how to connect a couple components. I suggest you read the thread before contributing, S11D336B.
The device you mention has been brought up before, and the general consensus is that it's not the most practical device for in-car use. As far as I know nobody has tried one out in-car.
