Hi all,
I've been looking around the forums for a while, and am interested in the whole 'carputer' idea.

First off,
It sounds like the lilliput touch screen lcd's aren't the best quality... bad glares, etc. Xenarc sounds like its the -higher- end lcd. Am I correct?

Where do you think the best place to buy a touch screen lcd is? Where would I find the best price. I've checked ebay and the prices there don't differ much from a retail seller.

Also, would it be possible for me to install the LCD in my car (scion tc), and (temporarily, ofcourse) run it using my laptop.. under the seat maybe? How do yall think this would work out for me? Or do you think the laptop would overheat.. or what?

Once I get the money for the whole carputer, I'd replace my laptop with the actual carputer.
