What will I need to use my laptop.

Hey guys I have one of these.

Well mines actually the A7V but its not produced anymore mines non dual core I believe.

Anyway I live in Brissy with my GF but her family is in Bundaburg a 4 - 4.5hr drive so basically what I want to know is it possible for me me to use my Laptop as a CarPC for these longer trips it won't be for day to day use just for the odd long trip to Bundy. So is my Laptop going to be suitable and what will I require to use it for this purpose?

What do you want the laptop to actually do?
If you have the power supply and the laptop, then it will work just fine. Play solitaire all you want. Watch a DVD (assuming the laptop has a DVD drive). Play mp3s on the laptop.

Sorry missed that bit, um basically I want to be able to hook it into my RCA's running to the amps I have two large 2 channel amps. For the use of running music straight from the laptop rather then use the HU. I don't think my HU has an aux in, I have to check.

Use an FM transmitter to send the sound from the laptop to your radio.
Thats for sure the easiest way.

Search this site. There is a guy that makes devices that can automaticly start your laptop when you start your car. I bought one and it works great.
