Power button help on laptop with p1900

the way my power button is setup is it has the button in the middle and surrounding it is a metal plate. when i touch 1 of the soldering points to this metal thats surrounding the button the laptop turns on. there are two soldering points that does this.

i found two soldering points on the laptop power button that trigger the the switch and turns it on... do i solder the black and green wire to these two points?

theres 2 other ones that dont do a thing. can it be the black to one of those 2 and the green to one of the ones that trigger? or both two the ones that trigger?
