06 accord vfd

Hi,

look at this picture

I have 06 accord without navi but I want that vfd display on top of the AC vent

I found the panel at hondapartshcheap.com
it's number 8 in the picture.

The problem is, will it fit?
I don't want to spend 50bucks for the top panel just to find out it doesn't fit.

If it's fits then I buy it, measure the lcd opening, then find the vfd that will fit

the vfd will display song information and speed
so I can have those digital speedometer 8th civic owner had

Its a slight bit different.

If you look on www.driveaccord.net, there is a user called nexson that was using a screen in the half din there. Shows how it looks.

I just opened the top panel (with tons of sweat)

project vfd is a go.

well... after I got my screen refabricated, then after that..

Thanks
I just got back from the dealer fixing the infamous honda rattle.
They ordered a new door panel and they'll install it a week from now or so.

The vfd project is onhold until the rattle is gone..
