thanks a lot

gave it a try, the resolution is applied by default and cannot be changed (forced)

Now, my xenarc 705tsv is giving me a hard time showing that NATIVE resolution properly, the picture is au-resized incorrectly and appears shrink to the top with the bottom filled with a black bar (hard to explain)

anybody got the 800*480 resolution working on a 705tsv?

Hello all,

I am running a Commell LS-372 which is a G965 chipset with GMA X3100 graphics. I got 800X480 in the list but it shows it at 601MHz (like someone else had). When I select this rez, it does display, but the adapter is outputting a screen wider than my screen is physically. What I mean is that the vertical res is OK, but the clock in Windows is off the edge of the screen to the right. If I scroll to the right the clock appears and the start button slides off the screen to the left.

I have the WRX bolt in (think it is a lillitput?) with a native res of 800X480. Anyone have an idea on what is causing this? Maybe my timing is off in the DTD string?

Don't know, but maybe something with overscan. That 601MHz is weird maybe it means 60.1?

Don't know if it means 60.1...that would be weird.

Someone else in this thread tried the INF mod and got 800X480 in their rez list but it said 601MHz. I have the same but have this weird wider screen issue...

More info:

After the INF mod and selecting 800X480 I ran Powerstrip and go to advanced timing and it shows 640X480. When I try to click the Horizontal shrink (-><-) button, it does nothing. But when I click the alignment buttons the screen does move left or right as expected.

Has anyone used this driver on an Intel Core 2 Duo equipped Mac Mini? I thought that I read that the Mac Mini was 945G chipset based with the GMA950 graphics?

I'm giving serious consideration to running a Win XP on a Mac Mini for a carPC.

Psyrex,

I have converted the Lilliput settings you posted into what I think is the correct DTD values. Can you confirm this?

Whew!!

Got 800X480 on GME965 (Commell LS-372) with GMA X3100 and the WRX bolt in 7". I think, but am not sure, that this is a Lilliput 619. Here is the driver for those who need it. It was built using the IEGD 8.0 Gold.

Just managed to get it to work on a DWW-650. Was super pain in the arse initially coz the monitor insist of seeing it as a 800x600 and missed major portion of top and bottom of the screen.
managed to use powerstrip and wrangled it to almost just there, but powerstrip time out. But it's already quite useable. i will think about plonking down 30USD for powerstrip later on.

I am running Aopen i945GMt-FA by the way.

^^^ That's pretty good. A lot of people have this screen. Can you post the Registry entries that your driver is using?
